Dude, I feel your pain!

I attended Cars & Croissants last Sunday. It was the first one of the summer and the turnout was definitely smaller than the previous few, but there were many great cars to see and people to chat with. I felt a twinge of sympathy for the guy who owned this Camaro, as I needed a flatbed at the June meet-up. I did find it ironic that the license plate on the is car is “TOWER” – what are the chances of that? (Click on the picture to see a larger version.)

On the EV front, I was driving home from work yesterday and as I watched the odometer roll over to 3,600 miles, the average energy efficiency (over the life of the car) took a small step up from 4.7 to 4.8 miles per kilowatt hour. While this translates to a miniscule savings, it does provide me with positive reinforcement that driving with a light right foot and the miracle of regenerative braking continues to make a difference.

I also want to note that despite the waiting list for this car, reflecting the increased demand, I have yet to see another Fit EV in person. I am sure they are out there. 🙂
